Anyone do the SPAM Winter Challenge today on Salisbury Plain

I looked around the car park before the start but didn't spot any PH stickers.

It was a good day but conditions were a tad gloopy. Completed the 35km ride in about 2hrs10mins and then spent an hour washing the crud off. For once had a bit of luck - thorn through the front tyre. Fortunately it stayed put and finished without a problem.

Rode last couple of years, couldn't make it this year though. Good event.

I have ridden this 5 times. Missed the last 4 as I seem to be injured. I plan on riding next years though. I was lucky with most of them as manged to finish before it really defrosted and turned into a bog. The last one a I rode was a bogfest and I said at the time NEVER AGIAN! It is a good ride out though so Ill deffo be aiming for next year.

Normally I'll do the 50 if I'm about but had the GF with me this time so we did the 25. Fair play to her as she's not a cyclist at all (yet!), never done any offroad and managed the old DH course at the end. We didn't set a course record, but we did finish so I was happy!
