If you, like me, enjoy catching Rich Hall on shows like QI, then have a look at his live show at the Apollo now on the BBC iPlayer. Theres around 25 mins of his stand up and the rest is his alter-ego Otis Lee Crenshaw which I'd never seen him do before. Also check out his other I player show on Hollywoods portrayal of the American south on film.

Good stuff - love his style. Anyone know if he has a following in the US, or is he based in the UK now?

Just watched this.

'tis very good.

ETA: Decided to watch Rich Hall's "The Dirty South", on that link above as well.

Those not interested in American culture might not care much, but I found it very insightful. And actually, quite an interesting portrayal of the US South's history in film.

He's always been excellent on QI, HIGNFY and thelike. I'm sure he did mention once that he is UK based now as the Americans just don't get him. Similar with Reginald D Hunter who is equally as funny.

Anyway, this is my favourite Rich Hall routine and might even be the funniest clip I've ever seen... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Vmg9e785lo
