Just a few Questions

Hi guys,

Long story but now back on pistonheads after a llooonnngg absence. I am in the Market for a weekend toy for 2011 with a TVR S on the radar.

I have owned a TVR wedge before so know all about the pitfalls but mainly the grin factor and hairs on the back of the neck drives. :-)

So just a couple of questions.....

Seems the Chassis is the main issue for most cars at the mo.

Chassis is key and the first thing to look at when looking at a purchase..... but... Putting on a ramp and having a good look would be ideal but in the real world I will be on some ones drive lying underneath. What can I do in this sitution, best places, easy access points that will give me a good indication the condition on the chassis? Is there a chance I can have a good poke (oh er) with a screw driver in this situation and think all is well but still have a rotten chassis due to not being able to check correctly.?

I am Based in Berkshire. I know there are some TVR places around, but the all seem to be into the Chims/Griff then on to newer stuff. Any one around here who is very good with 'S's so to speak.

Oh and forgot to ask....

Clutch replacment. Easy enough? (parts access etc?)
