Buying/selling images for posters

I'm setting up an online poster shop and I need some more images to offer my customers. Where can I find poster images (in digital format - not paper) for sale or by revenue share agreement?
Google only seems to bring up actual posters for sale or stock image companies.

I've not seen 'CatchInColour' before but yes something similar.

I will need high res, min 300dpi - for use in large prints.

Typical catagories for posters being: Cities, landscapes, natural world, animals, sports, etc etc.

You realise for an A1 poster thats 33"x22" at 300dpi your looking at 9900x6600?

Or 65mp?

Your not going to get many of those!

I'm willing to sell images if any on my website are ok (non exclusivly), but there all at best 18mp (or 2/3 frames stitched).

These print perfectly fine at A1

Generally the larger the print the fewer dpi you need because it's viewed from further away.

Nobody can see 300dpi anyway; IMHO it's really for highest quality four-colour process litho when ink dots can interact. 100dpi should be fine I reckon.

Sorry, I'm still learning the photography basics! (creating business is more my job!). My current images are 3888x2592 at 300 dpi, and these are fine for what I need. What is your website address?

Actually until they're printed onto something, there are no 'dots per inch' as there are no inches anywhere Pixel dimensions are all you really need.

As said above , dpi is utterly meaningless untill you print ( it does 'size' an image in photoshop etc but thats all).

Ok I'm pretty much covered for natural landscape images now.

In particular I still need to cover:

Sports
Automotive (espeically motorbikes)
Animals
Cities (london, New York etc)
Famous people

If you could reccomend anyone that specialises in these catagories, please give me a shout!
