I quite like them, they look a bit mental and cause some conversation, surely thats what good or in some people opinion bad design does.
plus i remember seeing a black one with some green rims a short while ago that looked pretty awesome. (if anyone has the picture post it up)

I've only seen one, looks like a Micra filled with expanding foam. Yes it's different, but so is walking around town in a pink dress, doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Ok, to rephrase that - it would be "different" for a man to walk around town wearing a pink dress. Doesn't make it a good idea, or acceptable to look at.
