I think this will be a unique event. An off-road competition but towing a caravan.

It's scheduled to go ahead around the July/August time and the caravans will be pre-prepared and fully stripped out.

At the end of the day, if any of the caravan is left, we get to smash it up. There are two caravans, one has already expressed an interest for the chassis to make a trailer, so theres one chassis left if anyone wants it, but you'll have to be quick.

The competition will be in the form of ten gates to get through in ten sections. Gates are 9 ft wide - only just enough room to get the van thru and will be over pretty tough terrian. One section will be a reverse - including a left hand bend

If you don't want to compete, it'll be worth going just for the laugh.

Carole says the caravan always goes left when she reverses it. Trouble is it goes further left than it should, bump.

This sounds like serious fun, you can count me in. Not sure I dare to risk my car for it but I sure would like to watch.

You could always buy mine off me. I fancy a new project - Range Rover bobtail that'll stay on the road, so you can have the trailer aswell.
