Just looking at a car spec and spotted this. How would that work then?

Its a heated section at the base of the windscreen where the wipers rest when they are parked. Not as useful as the Ford Qucikclear windscreen (but without the tiny filaments that I find a bit annoying). My car's got it, and it had proved useful over the last couple of weeks!

^^ What he said. The interlayer between the glass plies has a patch that functions in a similar fashion to the fully heated screens but instead only acts in the printed area where the wipers rest.

Oh blimey so literally a couple of mini de-mister type areas. Not sure what I thought it would be, but not that - thank you.
