Little help please.

I want to insure the track car on a temporary basis this year, so just a few days at a time rather than paying for a whole year.

Does anyone know of a company that will accept:

a 22yr old male
modified car
car over 10 years old

I have no points ect. on my licence.

Any help greatley appreciated.

no chance in hell.

I couldn't insure a standard car (group 17 and above) on a temporary basis because i was under 25, and modified cars are always a pig to insure.

Do you want to insure it for the road or the track/both?

Just for road use.

Try looking for a classic policy (depending on age of the car). You can't use any NCB to reduce the cost and equally you can't gain no claims on them but they offer a hefty discount over normal insurance as they're more biased towards the on-road mileage.

I've used ecarinsurance recently to insure a car whilst waiting to sell it (1 month). You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get it set up and it seems that lots of people fall foul of their various conditions. If you use them, just make sure you follow their instructions to the letter and send emails to check they've received your documents etc. They were cheap though!
