GT that wont loose too much money ? Crystal ball time
Discussion
So been thinking about another GT car for while now but would love to buy something that will be a potential classic.
Can only come up with the following and have been thinking about the following :
Db9 circa 50K
DBS ( May be the best bet)
Bentley Gt ( Too many made to be a classic)
Masarati Granturismo ( had one loved it seems to be holding value well)
I think they are all a bit new and will all depreciate like stones ?
Views ?
Or any better ideas

That pretty much fits my view. If you want something in that market that's not going to drop like a stone, get something older that has already dropped like a stone
ETA - Something in that price region that's probably already had most of its arse kicking might be something like a Ferrari 550, but then your 'depreciation pot' may need to be put to use as a 'stratospheric repair cost pot'

Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
Bristol Fighter
Morgan Aeromax
Possibly the AM Vanquish S in a couple of years, but they are still depreciating.
Most other stuff will continue downwards, as they are made in high numbers and are replaced every few years with the Emperor's new clothes, usually caused by facelifts (Gallardos), engine reconfigurations (Audi R8), or model replacements (Maserati Gransport). I.E. supply outstrips demand.
Only after about 10 years of depreciation do the special ones then start to rise in value again.

I suppose that's my only hope !!!!!
Had a Mas Gt before and loved it, sold to fund a 2.7rs restoration( now sold)
Dont have an issue with running costs ( Have Ferrari,Tvr and old 911 !!! So used to that)
Really needs to have 4 ish ( for infrequent use) Budget 40k - 100k
Had a db7 hated it and didn't fit in it (only 5,11 but head touched roof)

I must say I really quite like that alot, just have an Aston itch also thinking about old V8 VantagePhib
The older the better in terms of depreciation. It's possible DB9s will eventually sink the value you now pay for a DB7 (which isn't a lot when you consider their initial cost), but a DB7 V12 GT or early Vanquish must be pretty close to the end of its depreciation curve.
What about a Ferrari 456 or 550?

I'm realy happy with my Tuscan Mk2 Convertible.
Plenty of luggage space etc, comfortable, great sound track and since buying her spring last year have been to Spain twice and Germany 4 times.
I have a Tvr annd Bmw anyway so they are out and it really has to be 4 seats.Plenty of luggage space etc, comfortable, great sound track and since buying her spring last year have been to Spain twice and Germany 4 times.
Also needs to be prestige marque really to make it special.
