Christmas TV

[snakeswitht1ts]

Had a look at the christmas TV listings earlier and it looks rubbish. No decent/new films, crap repeats and hardly any festive specials.
Seems to be a hell of a lot of kids films on too.

Anyone else think the festive TV offering is a tad ste ?

Sounds the same as every other year then...

The days of rushing to Currys to buy a pack of E180s to tape whatever Christmas movies or specials were showing on one of 4 channels have long since gone.

With so many channels to choose from nowadays, and movie premieres being commonplace, it's hardly surprising that Christmas viewing is regarded as not much different from the rest of the year.

Am definitely looking forward to Avatar 3D on Christmas Eve, though..

We dont watch much tv over christmas really, usually playing stupid games, and if anything is on we want to watch, record it

I've been scouring the listings to try and find out if the Raymond Briggs Father Christmas animation is on over xmas but can't find it
