You can get bags of dessicant (silica gel) in Halfords. Check for leaks (obviously), but also try to stamp off your feet when you're getting in - it doesn't take much to create this "inside ice" effect in the wife's car, which is normally bone dry.

probably melted snow off your shoes, if it doesnt normally fog up. crank up the aircon if you have it, alternatively sillica gel might help

Apparently putting a sock full of cat litter (unused! wink ) has the same affect as silica gel. Leave cat litter sock in car over night to soak all the moisture up and then apparently you can microwave it and use it again?!! wobble

Never tried it myself, and I have no idea if it works when its cold either!

Turn your aircon on whilst out on a run.

I'll need to try the car litter in a sock. Our cat is getting on and I will hate wasting what will be left in the cat litter bag.

If you can put your car on the drive I'd recomend using a 240v fan heater for 10 mins or so before using the car, but don't forget to unplug it before driving off!
