Went out yesterday and hadn't drove the Aston for 3wks so with no snow on the road I took it out.

Was at a country pub for 4hrs and when I looked outside there was about 3" snow had landed an still falling!!

Having being so totally caught out I promtly told the lass I was with we would have to go (1st date not ideal lol)expecting the car to try and rip my head off and kill us both. The car was shockingly good used the torque no throttle. The car remained totally docile for 25 mile so impressed!

Has anyone else got any similar storys about other cars???

Shocked at how fking Stupid brave you are for taking a V8 Vantage out in the Snow! wink

Nah, know what you mean about driving on the torque. Been driving the S60 T5 round with right foot stuck out the window and it hasn't been stuck once... Judging by the people saying how badly their T5s have got stuck I think its a driving technique we should adopt...

If I Had a V8 Vantage (V12 is the dream car but will settle for the V8 I guess) I don't think I would have any needs to do the Custard test (the Birds kind anyway) to prove I had a nice gf...

Very funny!!

No there was no snow at home or even when we got to the pub. Got totally caught out thats all but the car has 19" wheels and low profile summer tyres just shocked me really.

My Vantage stayed in the driveway as I wasn't on a first date so I had nobody to impress!!

Depends if I am looking after my daughter tomorrow or if she's off to see her grandparents, and if I can get the car off the drive and down to the main road! smile

Not in the same league as your Aston but both my previous Elise's & Z3M were fine in the snow. The 328Coupe on the other hand was shockingly bad due to being automatic I guess.

Please sort those very illegal plates out, you have nice cars so why make yourself look like a total muppet with those extremely distasteful plates.
