If you've got an over-tyred RWD German saloon, or a lack of talent, you'll struggle on some of the hills, apart from that every road I've been on today is passable with care.
Every road, apart from the very main ones, are still covered in snow though. It's going to freeze tonight making tomorrow morning intersting.
I spent 4hrs last night towing most non-4WD cars up one of the main hills in Colchester, it wouldn't take much more snow to see that happening again.
Where do you need to go?

The roads are passable with care, there is snow on them, but they're drivable. There is a lot more snow in the Colchester area than further down the A12 at Chelmsford.
Saturday evening was a travel disaster - the A12 was blocked and all the hills in the town had cars (and in one case a bus) stuck on them. Total gridlock for hours.
As long as there isn't any more snow overnight it shouldn't be too bad tomorrow.

As the man said ^^ it was utter chaos last night; nigh on total gridlock around the town. Mrs Popeyed + sproglet walked to the supermaket this morning and reported numerous abandoned cars and in one case an abandoned crumpled bonnet and bent railing near the station. After the 5 odd inches had fallen last night I've never seen so many spinning wheels (or idiots who have no idea how to deal with the problem other than spinning their front or rear wheels hoping for some grip, while their front wheels are pointing in the direction of my vehicle!).
