He managed to roll Bill Gwynne's mk2 that he borrowed to do a rally in this country, made a proper mess of it!

Although Ken Block is a hopeless rally driver, I was unaware that the Ford Focus RS MK2 not a real rally car. How silly of me.

If you can channel that level of pedantry into checking people's grammar you'll fit in well here. laugh

And with that level of pedantry preselected and predisposed, i shall hit back immediately with a "where is the is?" regarding your reply........ ;-)

I;m not sure Block has beaten the "wow-factor" that he got with the very first video. The others just seem a litle less great.

Any idea what the engine is? Sounds like a BDA, but I sort of doubt that.

He's not as consistent as the top rally guys but he is still a very good driver.

That road is so wide it looks like they've just ripped up the tarmac on the interstate! No wonder he didn't bin it. I could have done massive drifts around there like that and I'm rubbish. I mean I'm truly, truly terrible.

Why not? It is a perfectly legitimate way of starting a sentence.

To be honest, Ken Block has shown what he is worth this year in the WRC, I thought he had potential with his GymKhana stuff, but that is just rehearsed over and over and over then edited together, the guy isn't worth a dime in the WRC and has proven this by coming near enough dead last in the standings this year, even looking at this video, it isn't that impressive, and the Scrote sounds awful, has that whine that emanates from a new rally car and not the bark that would be provided from a classic rally car.

And on top of that, he isn't going that quick through there, just seems to be on the limiter constantly, nothing seems to flow.

rolleyes

Are you better then?

Block is a very spectacular, entertaining rally driver. While he may not be competitive at a top level, I certainly wouldn't call him hopeless.

Fan or not, good car (Duratec rather than BDA and yes he owns it) being driven well on a track so wide he can't go wrong of if he does there's a good half an hour to correct it. Just got posted the clip and thought you'd like it.
