206 OBD-2 diagnostics

Hi guys can anyone confirm if a 206 1.1 I think 2004 would be OBD-2 compatible?

Sisters having trouble with hers, engine warning light on, don't really want to pay peugeot 70 quid to plug in a computer to tell me whats wrong.

Have found this one, anyone know if it will be compatible?

EODB is the european version of OBD2, that was required on all vehicles from 2001 sold in Europe so yes it should be ODB2 compatable

Thats what I was thinking, from a bit more research I've found this:

Peugeot 206 2001 –Only can show RPM

Peugeot 206 (ISO)


So would I be right in thinking that pre 2001 models it can read RPM, and post 2001 it can do full functions.... engine diagnostics etc...

It will be. A mate used one on his 2002 1.4 the other week

works fine on my 2001 1.4 and on my mates 2001 1.1
