Christmas in London

I took these over the past couple of nights - all hand held (but braced).

It was great fun playing around with the available light... less so dodging the shoppers!

I like those a lot. Especially as they are hand held. Number 1 is my favourite, and i think would make a good christmas card.
What kit you using? How long were the exposures, etc?

I either find my night time shots are over or under exposed.

Any tips/hints on how you achieved them?

Thanks guys. I was pretty amazed by the lack of shake/blur considering I was using pretty long exposures (compared to the focal length).

I was using a D90 and kit 18-105 VR lens, for most shots, although a couple were with my 35mm 1.4. I didn't do any post processing, other than the odd crop.

All I did was make sure my stance was stable, and press the button after I'd breathed out... just like a sniper
