Very old movies

Like 1930s and 40s. Where can I get them on DVD?

Particularly interested in Lucille Ball movies.

Try Amazon or Ebay is your best bet, or at least google for them. Sometimes the larger HMV stores might stock, but I spent ages searching for the Abbott and Costello and Marx brothers films, you may have to go to the US for them.

Back when there was a Virgin store in the Traff I remember going in there and getting sets of Will Hay films, Laurel and Hardy, Road to films and Ealing classics, a decent sized entertainment shop should have these things. Don't know if Virgin still exists as a shop, but a big HMV is the same?

I am going to start with the 'I Love Lucy' TV series from the Fifties from eBay.

Possibly the first ever Sitcom, 'The Honeymooners' is a close contender, they both started in 1951.

She made a ton of B movies before that though!
