Shamelessely nicked from the TG Apocalypse scenario.

The planet has ran out of oil, everyone has been wiped out by a nuclear war, its just you and a bunch of other people left.

There is just one barrel of oil remaining (so can be either made into petrol or diesel).

You get to finish it. What car will you choose to be the last ever petrol car driven on earth?

Assuming you have opted not to use it for the chainsaw or other more practical purposes

Edit: Of course this presupposes there are roads to drive on, if not then a Defender or a tank.

A BMW 320ED

35 gallons x 60mpg = 2100 miles, which is probably all the essential trips I make which wouldn't work by public transport for a couple of years.

Epic point miss though

They say never drive your dream cars, 'cause you maybe disappointed; however, with the chance of it never happening again, I'd strap myself into a Williams FW14B, point it roughly in the direction I wanted to and nail it. Chances are I'd run out of luck, before petrol, but it'd be one hell of a minute! wink
Excellent choice.

But she runs on Rose wine and nibbles...no need for oil!

Back on topic, I think I'd got for a Caterham, wanted to drive one for ages and would probably go for quite a while on a barrell!

Just to get you back on track guys, wanted to clarify, this you yourself are not going to die, it's just the last bit of petro.

thought this clarification should address some sentiment that it's not worth living if you cannot drive anymore smile
