fireblade valve clearances

I've just spent the entire afternoon checking the valve clearances on my 929cc blade... there is no room at all and everything has to come off the bloody thing to get to the head. No wonder that service was so expensive.
The screws holding the trumpets and airbox in place are made of chocolate. I had the right screwdriver and the centre came straight out of the screw heads. At least there was enough meat on them to cut a new slot.
Oh well, on the bright side, the motogp race was excellent and I've saved myself a load of cash
