Sorry if its a repost.
45 mins long
Watch it.
I've just sat through the whole thing. Speechless. At no point was I even close to bored.
Speechless.

Pinnacle of human engineering? I think so.

According to the internet, Nothing immediately.
The Russians are taking over responsibility for ISS supply and ferrying.
NASA will still have the capacity to launch cargo (a mere 40 tonnes instead of the much larger capacity the shuttle can handle per flight) on Rockets. But no people till 2015 apparently.

This outlines the gaping HOLE that will be left by the shuttle.
A sad day for science when it goes out of service next year...

Fantastic stuff. Would have loved to have seen a launch in person. What are they going to replace the shuttle with?
Still 2 to go, at least.Do it, sell your car, house, wife, the kids.
I saw a launch last may, one of the highlights of my 41 yr life.
Words cant even begin.
