Corsa 1.2 sxi heater problem

A friends corsa's heater is blowing cool air all the time, engine getting nice and warm and coolant level ok.
Removed both pipes going onto the heater matrix and there is zero flow going through either of them, so i assume it's a control valve of some sort, trouble is I can't find it, anyone any ideas of where it might be.

This has just happened to a colleagues 1.2 Corsa as well - any PH'ers with experience of what may have caused this ? common fault on Corsa's ?

Cable comes off the back of the knob. Easy enough fix once you get the stereo out.
