More bumf from Surrey today gushing about the partnership between Caterham and MG's X- Power engines, launch of 1.8K R300 (300 bhp/tonne) and more tempting offers. SWMBO unimpressed with Caterham marketing, me dribbling onto the brochure.

I've got an R500 on order - spoke to Caterham to see what difference there would be... answer "none whatsoever - just the X logo" (oh...and a price rise, which I managed to miss!)
It's all hype really. I guess 300 and 400 makes more sense explaining the difference between models.
Anyway, I can forgive Caterham most things for keeping the marque going.

I am desperate for one but my girlfriend is holding out for a chimera or an elise. i dont think flies in the teeth is really her style! will probably go pre-owned for the first car, have seen superlights around the 15k mark which is as far as budgets will hopefully allow! I'll just bore people to death with talk of them till then!
