PH conservative voters:- Thoughts on Ken Clark

PH does seem to be more right that left with more than its fair share of conservative types.

Now, I would rather chop off my arm than vote tory however I make Hitler look like Ghandi when it comes to crime and punishment.(ps I wouldn't vote Labour either)

The traditional tory voter I am told shares my opinions that prison does work as long as the sentenses are sufficiently long.

So PH blues, how do you feel about Ken clarks ideas to keep nutters out on the streets? Is this not a massive u turn and a betrayal of its core voters?

ps I don't recal him talking like this before the election. Did he?

did you vote conservative though? he seems completely opposed to everything they stand for. (or at least what I thought they stood for)
