What are peoples opinions on Pot Noodles?
Personally,The only 2 I have tried and liked are the chicken & mushroom and the Bombay bad boy(which is the ultimate flavour)..think I did try a sweet & sour one years ago.
Do they serve a nutritional purpose or is it just a means to an end when all else fails when you're starving.
Also has anyone actually tried the doner kebab flavour..not brave enough myself ,prefer the real thing!

'Pot Noodle' invariably polarises opinion between those who'll freely admit to indulging in its guilty pleasure now and then, and those who would only ever contemplate eating one if the alternative were death by stoning.
Personally I think the humble Pot Noodle has its place in the culinary firmament, alongside other much maligned items such as Fray Bentos tinned pies, Heinz tinned vegetable 'salad' and Heinz tinned spaghetti bolognese.
Not the sort of thing anyone should eat on a daily basis, but every now and then won't kill you. Let's face it, when the 'food filth itch' strikes, nothing - but nothing - can scratch it better than a Doner Kebab flavour Pot Noodle.
(Unfortunately I live miles from anywhere, therefore the real Greasy Sliced Elephant Leg isn't an option.)

Means to end but i do want to try the christmas dinner one.
I read an article somewhere about how the humble Pot Noodle serves as an important morale booster for the troops out in Afghanistan - hence they developed Christmas Dinner flavour. It's quite nice actually - a bit like sage and onion stuffing with a vague waft of something 'meaty'.
A friend of mine owns to Labradors which will eat anything from mud to hedgehogs, anyway my freind explained that a pot noodle got ripped open in the boot of his car by the dogs and the dogs then left every single bit of pot noodle scattered around the boot without eating any of it.
DO YOU STILL WANT TO EAT THIS TYPE OF FOOD THAT DOGS WON'T EVEN TOUCH!!!!!!!!

Means to an end, just flavoured noodles a quick carb fix but not worth berating as they do exactly what they say on the pot.
I usually have a couple in for those moments when they're just handy but wouldn't call them proper food. Chow Mien is probably my fave but it in no way resembles Chow Mien, the sticky Rib one is OK too. The Xmas one was not unpleasant but a bit disappointing.
