I was just attempting to hot lap the Ring in my M5 when i lost all gears above 2nd..

If i put it in 3rd, it goes into 1st and if i put it into 4th, it goes into 2nd etc.

I am well out of warrantee, anyone know a fix for this, it is not just on GT5, i have checked LFS too frown

Sequential shifting is fine, i just want my H shifter smile

Try logitech anyway - they might replace it. I had one replaced well out of warranty too.

They are simple inside, but as soon as you take it apart, they wont replace it. I'd ask first, and then take it apart if you can't get it replaced.

Also, there are loads of usb powered gear-selector things, so you don't *need* to use the g25's own one (which is a bit pap anyway).

I was kind of hoping they might replace it rather than repair it as i have already had to repair something else about a year ago. I lost reverse gear but i found a fix online.

The only H shifters i can find cost a fortune..have you found a reasonably priced one somewhere by any chance?

Try Frex or Lightning SSTshifter.

I have a custom made one, so that might also be something you can try, if you're technically minded.

Here's mine:
