Drifting help

This can be for both Forza and GT5, but this is mainly aimed at GT5.

I tried some drifting in a merc SLS on GT5 but really stuggled. I either had a tiny drift that was controlled or a big one which ended in disaster.

Im using a steering wheel, any tips?

Take the traction control off!

I imagine its not easy with a wheel. You need to be able to spin it across to opposite lock as fast as possible, so if you can reduce the rotation degrees that may help?

the sls has very good traction so maybe start with another car, like the shelby cobra 427. It's in the open garage so, you have instant access to a good drift car. Make sure all aids are off as well that will help alot!

Also, putting some rubbish tyres on the back will help get it to swing easily.
