The winter BBQ thread

Well, with all this snow and that I thought I'd break from the norm and have a BBQ this evening, admittedly I have less snow than most being in Central London but the roof is nicely exposed so I have a little coverage for that winter effect.

So I prepped some food, poured boiling water over the BBQ valves, donned my overalls and rape mask and got cracking.

In truth I've tried to limit the damage the photoshoppers can do by covering my face

Good work Gilla - I have a stockpile of lumpwood charcoal, and brickettes to get me by until spring. My idea was to cook a few roasts in the Weber, but due to a few reasons I haven't been got around (been motivated) to cooking anything yet.

I did cook smoked roast beef about 2 months ago as a test run, but haven't replicated it yet!
