edit to say - nb. this isnt me, i just picked up this link from the Honda-R forum and am just doing my bit by spreading the coverage. I occaisionally drive round there and dont want it to happen to me!

Me too!, How much of his number plate did you get?
The police can normally do a partial search especially if they know the make, model and colour of the car.
The partial number plate might be a bit of a help in spotting him. (not that I live anywhere near Farnham, sorry).
What seemed to be his motive?

Good luck to the Evo guy. I was deliberately hit (in my Subaru) by someone a couple of years ago. I too got a partial reg no. The response by the Old Bill was underwhelming to say the least. Ended up losing one of my no claims lives.
