Discussion
Hi ppl,
I have a set of 20" alloys i need refurbing for my Cayenne, usual kerb scuffs to outter rim for 3 and other one is slighty worse but its not bent or cracked etc.... still straight just few more scuffs.
Anyone recommend someone in the Manchester area, i am Worsley side, so nearer the better.
Any of the mobile ones any good ???
Thx for any help/pointers.

www.wheelrepair.co.uk do a top job and have done a fair few Cayenne wheels. They are in Preston. Sure they cover Manchester though. Talk to Jerry or Les.

They've done refurbs for my brother and me and I'm very happy to recommend them

The Wheel Specialist http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/ have a branch in Manchester.
They've done the wheels on my SL (black chrome
), the OHs C klass wheels, my mates 911 and the B-I-Ls 7 series. Fabulous work - the best money I have ever spent on a car.
They do a one day service - drop car off in morning and collect at 5-ish. Impressive facilities.
ETA: don't bother with mobile ones unless you are after a quick touch up (fnarr!) - a proper job will involve removing tyres, shot blasting, powder coating, oven baking and refitting and balancing. TWS charge about 300 quid all in for this - which I think is very reasonable indeed for the quality of the work. Even a spray paint place charge about 60/wheel for 10% of the job.

If you need any alloy wheel refurbishments or repairs I’d suggest you check out Manchester alloy wheel repair, I’ve just had my diamond cut alloys refurbished on my Golf R, can’t praise them enough. I’m really picky but these lads did a great job.
