Apollo 18 film

[FourWheelDrift]

Not a typo, it's a new movie coming out in March 2011. Under the tag line "There's a reason we've never gone back to the moon"

Not too many details but the poster hints quite a bit

Could it be a new and original idea from Hollywood, ignoring the moon Aliens of The First Men in the Moon and the Clangers?

going to be very blair witch - dark desolate place with a limited view of the world around.

none of this "get away from her you bh"

I'm looking forward to this, I like sci fi movies!

James Michener's book "Space" centers on a ficticious Apollo 18 mission. It was made into a mini-TV series in the 1980s.

The Apollo-Soyuz mission of 1975 is sometimes referred to as Apollo 18 even though therre had been a genuine moon landing Apollo 18 mission planned for a landing in the Schroter Valley region of the moon. That should have occured in 1972 or 1973.
