Some Fallout New Vegas questions

Hi,

I just brought Fallout New Vegas for Xbox 360 and I am enjoying it. Some questions, however:

1) Are there any gunfights which match the action in a game like Call Of Duty? I am a little disappointed that when I come out of the doctor's house, it is pretty much empty land.
2) What happens when I use up all 100 saves? Can I just overwrite an older save?
3) Can I buy houses? If so, how?
4) Is there any transport (apart from the teleportation thing between places you have visited)?

And please DO NOT PROVIDE SPOILERS (sorry for caps!)

CoD? Did you have any idea what sort of game you were buying....?

No to 1, 3 and 4.

Presumably you just have to save over an existing save once you have a hundred of them. Nearly 30 hours in and I still only have 50 or so.

1. No not really like COD but you can use iron sights and just open fire on targets normally as well as using VATS
2. I've never used 100 saved so no idea but I tend to overwrite most of my saves anyways.
3. No you can't BUT there are places you can store your stuff.
4. Yes, your feet....;)
