Boxter Facelift
Discussion
Yes, I reckon there will be a turbo version: this had been much discussed in the press already some years ago: remember the picture of the black Boxster Turbo prototype which had lost a wheel (just like the Cayenne more recently! ).
I think Porsche will unveil their new stuff for the Paris motor show, but I have no idea if the Boxster will have a facelift.

I've also spoken to a sales guy who unoffically told me:
265bhp 3.2L engine for 'S'
Glass rear window
Very minor headlight change
Rear air intakes now flush with body instead of inset
Glove Box
Basically a set of very minor improvements, sorting out the rear window properly...you'd be hard pressed to see the difference from a distance...
Haven't heard a thing about the "RS". I don't currently believe they're doing it. If they did and it had 320bhp as rumoured then I'd have one in a hot second...

Are those piccies with or without a facelift??
Doesn't look any different to me......
Apparently *with*. Although its not a "facelift" its more of a "bumlift". The front looks identical to me. The rear spoiler is a different shape. I think there's a diffuser at the bottom of the skirt. The rear window is definitely a different shape - to accomodate the glass.
I've ordered one largely because I was going to get one anyway and why would you get the "old" model when you can have the "new" one.
Its a relief that they aren't changing the shape too much. Sometimes car companies replace their older popular models with weird looking ones (new ford fiesta, Citroen C3 replacement for saxo). Not that porsche would do anything too radical anyway
Will the new RUF 3600S be based on the 'newer' boxter then?
Will they still make the 3400S too? or will that be replaced by the 3600S?
