Is there a 7 seater that will comfortably seat 7 adults?
Discussion
As per the title really. Are there any 7 seaters that will comfortably seat 7 adults on a long journey? Luggage is not an issue as it will be in a trailer.
I need to transport 6 paying customers in comfort so 'a bit of a squeeze' isn't an option, nor is anything crude like a Defender Station Wagon. It needs to be a new and respectable vehicle.
The Landrover Discovery looks borderline for shoulder room in the 3rd row, the Land Cruiser V8 looks ok though. What experience do people have with these and waht other options are there?

my wife's Kia Sedona has 7 full size seats in it.
Whether you class a Korean bus as "comfortable" is then up to you to decide!
Friend's family have a high spec one with leather etc etc and this did us very well for 6 adults 1 child and luggage. Middle seats have arm rests with plenty of leg room. Whether you class a Korean bus as "comfortable" is then up to you to decide!

My mate has a Chrysler Voyager TDi in the 'luxury' spec and it's got 7 full size seperate seats, is very comfy and has loads of room inside. Quite well appointed as well.
He uses it as a taxi. It wasn't that expensive either.
Careful with the load capacity on these. IIRC it's only about 500kg (always seems to be quite low for American cars - don't know why), so 6 largish adults onboard and you're overloaded. He uses it as a taxi. It wasn't that expensive either.
I would look at the Mercedes Viano, the VW Caravelle/Transporter and the Hyundai i800.
We have a discovery 3, adults fit in the back fine as the footwell is recessed giving some leg room, and head room is good. Width is fine for average sized adults but you would struggle with two rugby players.
We use landcruisers at work, the extra row is ok for adults but is not as good in my view as the disco, and the plastics etc feel quite cheap. Have a look at both though.
With either of these extra rear a/c is an option that is worth thinking about.
