Inlet manifold bolts.

There are two that stay in the top of the engine block with the inlet manifold beng held down by a nut. Unlike the other 6 that are a long bolt (save one). I need the one at the front of the engine, as a faulty torque wrench has caused it to shear. Just glad it didn't rip out the thread.
Is there a specialist for this sort of thing or will a cut length of threaded rod suffice?
Also is it recommended to replace the injectors? They've cleaned them up really well with thinners and with new 'O' rings they look fine.

But it "whats going on inside" that matters ? I've had a set serviced by www.injectortune.co.uk or there may still be a set of new ones available from Kens bits 'n bobs ?

eta..... new injectors

Might be able to help with the stud, got a few bits from a spare engine I stripped. Would it be about 100mm long ? have another about 170mm is that the back one ?

Phill, it's a 170 bolt at the engine front.



6 foot/lbs my 'arris.

When it went bang I have to say my heart sank. Thought I'd cracked the inlet manifold.
