Griff I think going by the Press and Journal photo. Very tragic, especially when they were young.

What Press Photos, and how do you know they were young, as none of the online reports i've seen show or mention either?

Very sad news, my thoughts are with the families.

Hopefully this isn't the start of the winter incidents. It's slippery and wet out there guys, take care.

There's a photo of the car on the front page of the Press & Journal and the article mentions that the couple were in their 20's.

very sad indeed. Obviously hard to tell from photo, but the car looks less damaged than I would have thought to produce such a tragic result.

At the risk of this turning into a bit of a goulish thread it looks to me like that car's rolled as the windscreen is either missing or flattened.

Condolences to the family and friends

This should serve as a stark reminder to us all that our cars can be tricky in these poor weather conditions.

Total agree, its a Griff and looks like its rolled from the angle of the A-posts.

Again condolences to the families and friends.

RWD performance cars like these (with no traction control) need to be treated with the upmost respect in poor weather conditions, spirited drives are out of the question. Better keeping in the garage (my Griff is) and do some fettling for better days in the summer.
