Now we have a release date and car list I thought it would be good to throw some ideas around about PH races. Despite the moaning and whining that was inevitable, there is masses of potential for some good race series, from the obvious (Top gear lap times) to the oddball (VW bus racing).

I have a couple of ideas to start.

A one race Caterham Fireblade challenge?

Maybe a British sports car series? Or maybe two, old and new?

What are you thinking folks? Oh and pelase keep the moaning out! smile

Cars you own challenge? Assuming your car is in the game, obviously.

Special Stage Route 7 in the vein of Mid Night Club. Sub 300bhp or so cars tuned up to a maximum 600bhp, and maybe a second unlimited class for the likes of 599s and Murcielagos etc.

Cracking idea, and my car is in the game too. MK1 Golf GTi. What sort of tuning rules would we apply?

My car's in there, sort of, I've got a Golf V6 4Motion but the Bora version is there. If it handles anything like mine does in real life then I'll be well off the pace biggrin

How Many if any will be using a controller to play this rather than a wheel?

Like the idea of driving your own cars on the game, would probably be a rather eclectic mix!

And controller for me, I haven't got a wheel/seat made yet.

I'm not going to bother with a wheel, the pad always suited me in the past, plus I'd need to buy a seat etc.. I'll have to pick up a DS3 though, missed the feedback playing Prologue with a sixaxis.

An own-car series would see me very far back if they even bother with a Corsa C with a slightly juddery clutch hehe

How about taking the NASCAR lumps to some proper tracks? Some of the small street circuits with 850BHP and some planks o' steel for aero would certainly be interesting!

There's a track editor isn't there?

Get people to develop a rough mock up of their local sink town ringroad/town centre.

Then have Formula Chav Tour -Grand Pricks.

I believe there is a 1.4 Corsa on the car list is there not?
