Dunlop Race Academy

Prove your racing skills and win a fantastic jolly in Monaco

Dunlop is launching a national search to find the next Jenson Button or Damon Hill and seven finalists will attend the Dunlop Race Academy run in association with Gold Track.

The hopeful hot shots will then be whittled down to one winner who will earn a unique chance to race a customised Ginetta against experienced rivals in the coveted Dunlop Driver’s Cup at Brands Hatch.

As if that’s not enough excitement, they will then pick up a club class flight to Monaco for a two-night stay in the Columbus Hotel (owned by McLaren Formula One driver David Coulthard).

Arriving by helicopter, the lucky winner will also be kitted out in some fine designer clothing before being whisked off to the casino and provided with spending money!

Dunlop’s Brand Manager, Geraldine McGovern, said: “It’s a great opportunity for racing enthusiasts to get a look at the real life of a racing driver.  They’ll have to be hot on, and off the track, in the spotlight of the press as well as amongst experienced racers. Who knows, maybe the winner will go on to become a racing legend in his or her own right?

I thought I'd give it a whirl until I noticed the 'entrants must not have previously held an MSA licence'.

Blatant licencism!!!
