Which Gaming Wheel and Race Seat?

What wheel/race seat have you all been using for the PS3 & Xbox? If you are buying/upgrading for GT5, which do you plan to get and why?

I want to have a race seat set up with dedicated TV in our new place and haven't had a wheel since the PS2.

I am looking at this one right now from Apiga.

Pics of your setups would be great.

Ive decide on a Visionracer with 32" Sony HD wifi screen and a G27, Im now in the process of selling loads of tat on ebay to buy it lol

TV is free with points on sonycard as is the PS3 (I have a lot of points) so need to get seat and G27

Their office is 15 minutes from mine so I am going to swing by on Monday and talk to them as I need the frame sprayed white. It might actually be worth letting them know about PH to see if they will do some sort of discounted group order/shipping.

I couldn't find the weight on their website but a review claimed the standing unit (AP2) was 15kg. Express airmail to the U.K is roughly £100.39 through Hong Kong Post but I am sure they have a local shipper with better rates.

I've just got myself a Gameracer pro ( from here) and have to say its great - you can add a screen stand, gearbox mount etc too. Support/customer service is great from them too.

The good thing about it (apart from being easily adjustable) is that it folds away to take up hardly any space at all (ideal for SWMBO approval factor).

PS it is being used with a G25 which I believe is fairly similar to the 27. Seat comes with bolts to bolt the g25/7 to the chassis.

Ordered the Apiga setup with the black seat, LCD frame and found a 42" Samsung LCD in the classifieds that should finish it off nicely. They emailed to say they were out of stock but the next order arrives on November 24th, thankfully. Tempted to spray the frame white to match the room but I will see how it looks when it's all set up.

What about sound? A speaker set-up or a nice pair of headphones?

I predict a 95% drop in productivity throughout December.
