Just a reminder that tomorrow night, is the night I make a prat of myself on national television! My only consolation is that its on Men & Motors channel and wont have that many viewers!!

Its on at 9pm, on Sky channel 136 the programme is called Top Dog - Cars

I only hope the TVR comes out in a good light, looks good on the track and you can hear the roar of the V8!

Stardom............Men & Motors only has about 50 viewers and most of them will be from PH!!!

I hope the car sounds good too, thats the only reason I went on to get the car heard!!! If they capture it, Peter did say I could possibly get a video of the footage they took, I will ask and tey to get someone to host it!

Looking forward to seeing it though!

I'm hoping someone can get a decent recording for someone to host. I have no access to this channel, and haven't found anyone to record it for me!

You woz robbed Mike!

I've recorded it onto DVD - I'll try to convert the TVR bit to a web format & stick it on my site. Might take a while though because my DVD recorder is new and I don't know how to work it!

The TVR came across fairly well, although the Wife felt they really wanted to nit-pick - especially the presenter who obviously preferred the Porsche.

The S should have won obviously.

Yes I thought the car came across very well, especially on the track with my powerslide to the camera (glad I got that right??) I thought the car looked and sounded well, just hope I did the 'S' Series proud!

When you think about the V8S won really, it was 2-1 to the Porsche and the MP only chose it as he couldnt quite fit in my car. So considering the Porker costs 9-10K more and would have lost, had say Charles Kennedy been the judge, it faired pretty well!! Interesting you should say that about the middle Judge, Paul, who obviously liked the Porker. You may also have heard Penny Mallory say she has always wanted a Porsche 911, well the guy is Pennys husband!!

Well there goes my 15 mins of fame and I am pretty glad with the way it came out, and Luca is kindly going to host it for me, nice one Luca, look forward to seeing it.....again.

Mike....

I can't beleive that result (although I already knew). Admittedly I've just got in from the pub and watched the recording but......

What a CROCK. I've read all your posts before and this show is not about TOP DOG.

Its about who prefers what car for whatever reason. There is no factual biased or opinion.

To back the show up the 911 definately does not look like a Capri....It is an iconic car.

Quality driving I'm Glad you got the slide in.

Even The missus thought you were much better looking than that old bloke...........

Well done mate.

Dave

Well done Mike I thought you were very restrained considering the pathetic comments of the panel. That little sh-t Hosier dropping in the comment about TVR reliability and Hembery (Oooh! Mister big I am Motorsport Director), what a Mk1 T-sser with all his kit car comments.
Mike, I thought your response to him was excellent it put the Kn-b head right in his place.
As for Miss Smarty Pants comment about your doing donuts you can see their bias towards the Porsche

The boy done us proud and the S looked and sounded the dogs.

Oh and thanks for hosting Luca, excellent job

Can't get into a V8S?
PW never had that problem and he's seriously tall.

Would he slag off a Ferrari for having bu99er all leg room?

Perhaps they should just stick to the old mans car (911).

Good old "Men & Muppets"!
