Anyone else watching?

Much prefer this format to the UK one. Some of the contestants are deeply annoying though,

No, what channel?

I think I caught the last series 'final', and they were making and cooking sausages. They seemed quite a long way short of the abilities of the British series' finalists.

It's on Watch so either 109 or 155 on Sky.

Take the point on the relative abilities but it's entertaining viewing nonetheless and they have a good stream of UK and Aussie chefs on for the challenges

Aussie Masterchef?

That provides a lot of scope for Youtube spoofs!

'Contestant 1, Bruce, has barbequed a beefburger
Contestant 2, Bruce, has barbequed a sausage
Contestant 3, Bruce, has barbequed a hamburger'

Couldn't be bothered to watch this one after the final few rounds of the first one were so blatantly rigged to let the useless mummsy type win it.

We've been watching it, although my girlfriend keeps going away during the week with business, so we end up with a marathon at the weekends. I prefer it to the UK version as it seems a lot less up its own arse.

I've been watching it and think its much better than the UK version.
The soundbites and the narration from the contestants during the challenges add to the entertainment and I like the variety of the challenges.

The 2 hosts are great to watch too thumbup
