Not sure if this should be here or food and drink - mods feel free to move it.
This one has really got me thinking, I mean if you are going to lose weight then this looks like one of the most fun ways to do it! But I can't believe he ended up healthier, it seems impossible.

what's so special about that?
bloke reduces calorie intake and loses weight. that's been known for god knows how many years. it wouldn't have been fun at all because he'd have been bloody starving, 1800kcal from pure s
t food isn't much in terms of mass of food. so he'd have been bloody hungry a lot of the time due to the stomach not being full, nor the food providing good satiation.
sounds better than it really is, and it's really not magic at all...

I didn't say he died because he followed his diet.

I was more interested in the fact that his cholesterol etc went down too. We are often told that weight alone is not an indicator of health, but this seems to disprove that.
He was eating less saturated fat and cholesterol in total, so his blood levels dropped. However, it doesn't say they dropped to healthy levels - just that they were lower.Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
