Half Life - Orange Box?

Hi has anyone played/bought the above? I'm tempted to get it off Steam as it's quite cheap. Got fond memories of playing Team Fortress Classic back in the day (possibly the best online game I've played), and this comes with TF2.

Oh, Portal is brilliant too. Great game concept and some dark humour thrown in.

I've taken the plunge and paid for it - damn Steam servers are too busy for install though..!

Right about the HL2:Ep3 and DN:F comparison though, seems all quiet on that front, and has been since the release of the Orange Box really.

Perhaps post release of Portal 2 we might begin to hear a few things.

I agree that it's not really worth talking about as an upcoming game, I just wanted to point out how I felt at the end. I wanted more!

I'm hoping so. I think Valve have been too busy making money from online games. Endless TF2 expansions, L4D, L4D2 all spring to mind....

I'd be interested to know the future of the source engine - whether it'll constantly evolve or it'll be replaced by a brand new engine. Compare HL2 to L4D2 it's difficult to remember it's the same underlying engine.

My point is though... I think if a new engine is on the way, we'll see HL3 as a launch game. If not and source keeps evolving then i've got a bit more hope for HL2:EP3.
