I'm thinking about selling the above plate.

Anyone with ideas on what it might be worth and the best way for me to sell it?

I was hoping that one of these rich English footballers might want to offer me heaps of money for it.

If you find a good way would love to know, selling my M5 0RGY plate too. How much is it to advertise in the Sunday Times, I'd always have a look there at least?

What sort of money you after? - makes a difference to the sorts you market it to.

Although they take 4-5 days to respond (by post) check out
www.regtransfers.co.uk
then click on selling at the bottom.

I'm sure Mr and Mrs Beckham would buy the plate for their sprog's toy car - as long as Halfords would make it up as diamond encrusted.

I've just looked on the site and they seem to have it on there already. I guess it must have been from when the previous owner was trying to sell it.

A bit worrying then - or have you only just bought the car yourself. If not then why are they listing your plate? Or are they telepathic and knew you wanted to sell it?!? Sculder and Mully to investigate please.

If they've ever been asked for a valuation on the plate, they'll list it on the site (with no price). Then, if they ever get contacted about it by a potential buyer in the future, they'll contact whoever asked them for the valuation to see if it's still for sale. If that's you, then great. If that's a previous owner, then the previous owner obviously can't sell it again.

I had this once when I asked for a valuation for my plate (NEV111E) .... couple of weeks later it was being advertised "for sale" when it wasn't. But it's nothing to worry about, all the cherished number company's do it.

There's numerous cherished number companys on the web. If I remember rightly, the autotrader.co.uk site used to have a section devoted to them.
