I've only seen the trailers, but it seems like it is trying to be the Lost replacement. Is it as odd as it looks on the trailers?

There's a hell of a lot of 3 hours earlier, 13 days earlier, 7 days ago, the present day, 1944, type thing going off,

I thought it was trying to be a lost replacement but now 3 / 4 episodes in i'm not so sure.

Possibly a cross between 24 and Lost.
