Forza 3 - World Cup Challenge night coming soon

Pre 1966 cars, NO aero, NO engine/drivetrain swaps, NO slick tyres. B500 tune. Anyone want to join in?

Two of each model of car only from the above list will be allowed in.

The eight tracks are all in keeping with the era, it will be run over two nights, one night will be europe, the other the rest of the world, each race will be approx 40 miles long.

EUROPE
Le Mans old circuit - 5 laps
Mugello - 12 laps
Silverstone - 12 laps
Nordschleife - 3 laps

Rest of the World
Suzuka - 10 laps
Laguana - 18 laps
Road America - 10 laps
Sebring - 10 laps

Points
1st - 12
2nd - 10
3rd - 8
4th - 6
5th - 4
6th - 3
7th - 2
8th - 1

Best 6 of 8 rounds count towards the final score.

Prizes
Each race
1st - 500,000cr
2nd - 250,000cr
3rd - 125,000cr

Championship prize
1st - 3,000,000cr
2nd - 2,000,000cr
3rd - 1,000,000cr

Plus 1,000,000cr for the best race paintjob from the era, this can be your own, commisioned or storefront, but must be 60's style.

Have slightly adjusted the prize money, due to being two lobbies now.

Had my first time on Forza 3 online last night, found the cars somewhat harder to control and didn't enjoy the experience at all..

Just a thought, since were trying to do era cars...should we also ban tyre width upgrades and only limit to sports rubber?

Why tyre width upgrades? plenty of the racing cars from that era had wider racing rubber?

I do agree about sport rubber though.

Looking on google to find the price of the Cobra, I found a list somebody made with every car's details. Unfortunately some of the prices are missing, but I realised the GTO is 20 millions credits!

I might have to change my car choice when I get home and check what I can afford
