Watching it on TV, a day after airlines complain about tight security.

Who'd have thought.

Do UPS have many passengers? Would probably be the ultimate Ryanair strap-hanging role model.

So the day after a British guy has a pop at the US security a US plane turns up at a British Airport with a security risk?

Yeah just a coincedence.

Apparently it was a Yemen-Chicago flight, refuelling at East Midlands.

A lot of parcels going from Yemen to Chicago then...?

I get it...

This is to deflect my attention from the UPS parcel I received yesterday, cunningly placed on the floor so I couldn't see the ruddy great hole in it...

Too late, UPS, too late....irked

Gives Sky News something to continuously repeat all day long. They had nothing left to say before this. Seems quite coincidental that these kind of news items come up just in time for the media to keep them busy. They're padding it out as usual with all sorts of nonsensical what-ifs etc. The media is doing exactly what any terrorist wants - to get publicity.

It is going to script now, fox are saying the security and screening is the responsibility of the country the plane originated in and we may have to look again at their security procedures.

Just watching Fox news. The plane casually parked up in an isolated space and just sat there. If I were the polot, I'd have put the handbrake on and jumoed out the window...what's he doing in there?
