PS3 on a slightly crappy 27" 720 HD Ready TV

I'm starting to fall out with the GF over the time I'm spending on fallout new vegas, to be fair she's got a point, mainly because I'm monopolising the living room.

I'm thinking of either shifting the PS3 upstairs to the bedroom or getting a second one for bedroom use, also means I can stream my video files and watch them in bed as well as in the living room.

Anyway, am I going to even be able to see anything on a cheapo 27" LCD "HD Ready" jobbie from about 12ft away? I'm thinking reading text in Fallout New Vegas converstaions, stuff like that might be a challenge...

Thought I'd ask before ripping out all the cables from the home cinema setup downstairs only to find it's no good!

Also anyone know if you can stream content from one PS3 to another via wireless? I'm thinking movie/video files in AVI format on the HDD on one PS3 to another... not copyright/rented stuff from the online store.
