Fallout new Vegas, bug?

I started playing last night and everything was fine, but when I put it on today the left joystick (look) was completely non functional in-game. It works on the map fine, I tried a different controller but no change. Anyone else had this? It's for xbox by the way

Not had that on the PS3. I'd switch it all off and back on again and see what happens......

I had an issue where the fire trigger seemed to be stuck, and at times buttons seem unresponsive so it's not just you.

Although the game is good, it surprises me that so many bugs are present when it's basically a re-make of FO3
