... A successful body lift over the weekend. Done alone (Billy no mates me!) using 4 high trestles, wood beams, a handcrank winch and wire rope. After frigging together the winch I got the back end to within 6 inches of the top of the rear suspension mounts and secured it. The plan was then to lift the front up then return to complete the back. Problem is the body shell has a narrow section around the engine / gearbox connection point that prevents the thing from being lifted straight up.
Top Tip then...
Lift the back high enough to allow the chassis to roll forward 6 inches; that's all thats needed. Then lift the front.

3 bits of chassis rot, fns outrigger and both lower seat belt mounts. (The Missis was non-too pleased when she saw that.)

Happy Days eh?
