My Governor is Practicing for the Presidency
Discussion
I say 2016 or 2020 is his shot. He quite simply believes that in tight budget times, one either raises taxes or cuts expenses. Taxes this little man will not raise, full stop. Below is an excerpt and link.
I believe he is out to show everyone "how it is done".
"The reductions include:
•$34.7 million to higher education.
•$20.8 million to the state Department of Health and Hospitals, not including an added $50 million cut in the Medicaid program unrelated to the budget deficit.
•$12 million to the state Department of Children and Family Services.
Gov. Bobby Jindal said state officials are going to have deliver better value with fewer dollars.
“We don’t need whining. We do need leadership,” he said during a mid-day press conference

Yeah but, will he persuade the Chinese leadership to let the Renminbi become a convertible currency?I believe he is out to show everyone "how it is done".

Top tip - in the UK, the role you're referring to is referred to as "The Guvnah", or just "Guv".I believe he is out to show everyone "how it is done".

The principal administrative unit for The Guvnah is known as "The Manor".
In your example, the State Guvnah should be referring to the officials on his Manor as "You Slaaaags"
He should also explain to the Slaaags that Claret will be split if they don't shake a leg, look lively, and get the whole place running smartly in Bristol Fashion. Toot Sweet.
We could also discuss the appropriate use of the most ping-pong tiddly on the nuclear sub in a public context, but frankly we've seen enough of this in Sweaty Land today.
